Do you accept requests for special orders?

 

YES! If you'd like to custom order something that you don't already see on the site, just call or send an email outlining what you're looking for! We're happy to create special customized items any time!

What payments do you accept?

 

We accept payments by PayPal account balance, checking account, and all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) via PayPal secure check-out. You do not have to have a PayPal account to pay by credit or debit card. After you begin the check-out process, you will have the option to either sign in to your PayPal account or to choose the "Pay with a debit or credit card" option under the account log-in section. 

 

At local events, we accept cash and credit cards for all items, and we accept personal checks for custom orders. However, checks must clear before production of custom items will begin.

What are your shipping policies?

 

We ship daily as needed Monday through Saturday via the USPS. Non-custom orders will be shipped within 24 hours of purchase (except on Sundays and postal holidays). Most custom orders can be made and shipped within about 3-4 days of purchase, except after events where many orders may have been taken at one time. Purchasers of custom orders at local events will be given an estimated ship date at the time of purchase. ALL CUSTOM ORDERS will be listed on the "CUSTOM SHIPMENTS" Calendar to give customers a way to check the status of their order at any time.

 

Unless you request expedited shipping, domestic purchases will be shipped First Class or Standard Post with a tracking number. Domestic delivery time is typically 2-8 business days. BiblioTrove is not responsible for USPS-related delays.

 

International purchases will be shipped via USPS First Class International. International delivery time depends on your location, but is typically between 1 and 3 weeks. International customers are responsible for their own duties, taxes, and fees associated with importing packages into their countries. It is illegal for us to mark an international package as a gift so you can avoid certain customs fees. Please do not ask!

 

If you need items by a certain date, please request a shipping upgrade. For custom orders, you may also request rush production for an additional fee.

Can I pick up my order locally?

 

If you live locally in or near Springfield, IL, contact us BEFORE placing your order for a free-shipping code. You can then make your purchase without paying shipping costs, and we can arrange for local pick-up or delivery.

Do you accept returns? What is your refund policy?

 

We typically cannot accept returns for custom orders because they were made just for you! Some customized items that can be resold to other customers may be accepted for shop credit. Custom Wall Letters cannot be returned for refund, however, if you are unhappy with your letters, we may be able to replace them on a case by case basis.

 

We DO accept returns and offer refunds for all non-custom items within 30 days of when the order was placed. Buyer must pay the return shipping cost. If the returned item(s) are received within 30 days, we will offer a full refund of the purchase price less a $1 fee (which covers PayPal fees that are not refunded to the seller). Original shipping costs are not refunded.

Do you collect sales tax?

 

BiblioTrove is a registered business in the state of Illinois. We are required by law to charge sales tax of 6.25% to customers with shipping addresses in Illinois. In Illinois, this tax is also applied to shipping costs.
